Flax Seed and Flax Seed Oil

t writes:
Flax seeds contain lignin:

You wouldn't swallow sand, no matter how fine a grain it was, because it'll just scrape along the inside of your already irritated gut... grinding up flax seeds is the equivalent, except you have the added bonus of it increasing bacterial overgrowth as it goes through you.

Flax seed oil is extremely unstable and goes rancid (oxidizes) very easily, even when refrigerated.
